Enter “Helveticards” -  a clean, Swiss-style minimalist take on playing card design.  Sure, it’s not rocket science, but they do look pretty nice…

We love Threadless here at mantrends – but if you haven’t heard about them here’s the idea: people create shirt designs and upload them to the site.  Other people rate those designs, and the highest rated get made and sold.  The designer gets paid and gets to see their work being worn.  The buyer gets a pretty unique shirt (often the runs are quite limited) and a warm fuzzy feeling.

This t-shirt, called “Poker Hand Values” caught our eye recently.  It’s the ace of spades with the poker hand hierarchy integrated into the spades icon using clever typography.
