I’m sure that all of you fine gents reading this already have an impressive array of facial hair, but most of us know somebody who would be improved with a little hirsute headgear (the wife for example?) or failing that just like the idea of bearding up your workmates.

It’s well beyond the time of year now where you realise that it’s all down hill from here until at least next June.  There’s nothing else for it but to wrap up warm and restrict your exposure to the elements to quick sprints to the nearest public house.  Not all of us are fortunate enough to live next door to the Dog and Smoking Jacket but fear not – help is at hand.  Or head.
