On sale now (in the US at least), the much-awaited Dell Adamo XPS has arrived. There are two things that stand out here. Firstly it is ludicrously, impossibly thin – just 9.9mm. Secondly, whoa! What have they done to that laptop? Instead of a more conventional layout Dell have made a razor-thin keyboard which folds up into the screen to close. Whether this is the shape of things to come or a huge mistake only time will tell.
It’s well beyond the time of year now where you realise that it’s all down hill from here until at least next June. There’s nothing else for it but to wrap up warm and restrict your exposure to the elements to quick sprints to the nearest public house.
